The Herc Assault - refined and dialed - is the ultimate single-wall shelter - ready for the high winds on Denali Pass and fully breathable for comfortable living. Each season the Herc gets a little better and this year we focused on two key areas. First we reconfigured the vestibule pole - giving the vestibule a taller crown. After we pimped out the front porch - we put our attention to making the ventilation even better. We built more waterproof-breathable Drizone into the tent crown - giving condensation even less of a chance of forming. We then redesigned the side venting - meaning more air flow - but also more stability in the wind tunnel. This season we also use the new Jake's Corners Medallion of Strength - which offer the same bomber construction as years passed - but now pack down smaller. Great BACKPACK ACCESSORIES. As with most North Face stuff I feel like it is very expensive until I put it to use. This jacket is much warmer than I expected. Very comfortable too. Not too bad with the LADIES either. |
