DC Men's Judge Boot (Fall 2006): The Judge Boot by DC Shoes returns once again of one of DC's lightest - strongest and most flexible high-performance boots. The Judge's Retractable Boa Lacing System has improved lacing points to more evenly distribute pressure; this upgrade means you can now micro-adjust your lacing for a more customized fit. The Judge's articulated upper construction works with the BOA to provide more support and flex. The rubber exoskeleton support on the heel helps the boot grip the binding; a similar ridfed toe area provides protection and durability. The Judge also features DC's new 3D Tongue - its seamless construction means more comfort - less pinch. The Judfe comes with DC's Air Liner - which means the boot has DC's exclusive air - gel - and heat technology. The calf foam pad in the boot's interior provides additional comfort - and an adjustable ankle brace better secures the liner in the boot. The Judge's sole features DC's CTR compound for increased traction when the temperature falls. BOA Lacing System: DC has licensed the BOA Lacing System - which allows for precise and effortless fit adjustments. The BOA evenly distributes pressure and allows for micro-adjustmets to the lacing. It's simple: Push in the knob and twist clockwise to tighten - pull out the knob and push the tongue forward to loosen. Full Size Airbag: Like its name implies - a full-size airbag makes it seem like you're stepping into an air-inflated cushion. Sounds pretty good - right? DC spreads the comfort around the entire foot - too - this aibag extends from the heel ot the ball of the toe so that more of the foot gets cushioned. 3D Tongue: The boot's tongue is ergonomically engineered to conform to the natural curvature of the lower leg. Normally the shell of snowboard boots is sewn in two spots to accommodate the curve and teh flex of the shin to the leg; with 3D Tongue - the construction is seamless to offer flexibility instead of creating pinch points or hot spots as the front of the leg curves in the boot. CTR - Cold Temperature Rubber: CTR is yet another exclusive DC technical innovation. When the temperature falls to 32 degrees Farenheit or lower - the CTR compound hardens to form traction-enhancing spikes.
