The Aether 60 Pack by Osprey is designed to carry light and go fast in the backcountry. Whether winding your way up an escarpment in the Porcupine Mountains or making a weekend trip to the crag - the Aether 60 helps you shave the weight.The total suspension weight of only 9.3 ounces belies the carry of these packs. However - we haven't skimped on details or durability. It's just not worth it to save a few ounces. We believe that you'll use far less energy and avoid a great deal of frustration carrying a pack with a real suspension and strong materials. The Ethereal suspension consists of dual-peripheral 3/16 in. fiberglass stays. Double hip compressors anchor the struts to a pass-through lumbar hipbelt - while the harness load lifters flex the load snugly against your back. Meanwhile - the 3/4-length framesheet with 1/2 in. stay helps support the load and keeps the backpanel curved to your shape and not barreled. The result is a comfortable and tireless carry.The available Isoform Harness and Hipbelt system is made in gender-specific sizes and cuts - these harnesses and hipbelts offer sizing versatility in a simplified and lighter version. The IsoForm harness is laminated dual-density foam for extra comfort and fit. Our tried and tested hook and loop adjustment allows up to 3 in. of variance in each torso size. The IsoForm hipbelt is a 3D dual-density foam design anatomically contoured to a variety of shapes and sizes. Dual hip compressors anchor the hipbelt to the rod sleeves - ensuring excellent weight transfer and a comfortable ride. Top pockets on the Aether and Ariel 90 and 75 convert to a versatile fanny pack using the IsoForm hipbelt. The unique cross-compression design allows a stable carry with no bounce.
