Large numerals and audible warning signals will allow you to concentrate on maneuvering your boat in the congestion at the startof the race - all while keeping you informed on forthcoming critical events.The timer allows the user to choose the amount of time to be counted down until the start of the race - from 10 minutes to 1 minute - or by the minute - depending on what signals are given in that particular race. The user can at any time adjust the countdown timer to the nearest full minute: very useful when checking the 5-minute signal - for example.When the countdown is completed - a stopwatch will automatically start running. The limit of the stopwatch is 120 hours - i.e. five days. The stopwatch stores up to fifty waypoints for one race - which can be viewed after the race.The electronic compass shows you your bearing and cardinal or half- cardinal point - and a North-South arrow. The electronic compass features a bearing tracking function - which displays locked bearing - actual bearing and the differencebetween the two.
